1. Thanks, Batch and good morning all. I saw bits of the Rally Of and For the Unhinged last night, and it was truly frightening. The language 45* is employing to rally his base was the usual mix of lies, but it felt like there was an additional, frenetic level, practically urging insurrection. I’m not going to bash WV or its residents, because this rally could have easily been in MI. But it’s clear to me that The Loser is feeling cornered, and that makes him doubly dangerous. Worse, he was carefully reading from a Teleprompter, so his message was crafted for him from within the WH. The only thing giving me some comfort is that he’s going on vacation, so maybe he’ll ignore his job even more than usual…while the Resistance and Mueller continue without wavering.

   • Morning sher…Trump’s twitter fingers going into hibernation for 2 weeks? …That I doubt very seriously…He’ll be sitting on his golden toilet for the next few weeks trying to amp his rabid shithead followers and keep lying to do as much as he can to proclaim everything fake news and witch hunts against him and his family. Plus now he has another target…The Republicans that have put leash around his neck.

   • Just keep reminding yourself that his base is probably 1/4 of the Republican Party which means the true believers at each rally are minimal. What you were seeing is the natural mob reactions to a rally which, to them, is a night out on the town. We all knew he was getting more unhinged. I’d assume somebody wrote that speech so he wouldn’t just start going off about what’s happening. He’s scared. His fan base isn’t sharp enough to get it. Yet. We’re stronger together and we ain’t giving up (and a big thank you to Acting AG Rosenstein because without him we’d have no Mueller).

2. {{{Batch}}} – g’morning – Yeah, Hillary warned us. We listened. I like Daou asking who’s paying for all this anti-Dem crap purportedly coming from the broflakes – it’ll send them into another tizzy but the tizzier they get, the less real Dems will pay attention to them.

   pvl45 (or should we refer to him as pee-resident?) is crazy. Nobody is going to control him for any length of time – his drugs seem to last for about 45 minutes after which his ability to read a teleprompter or sound sane diminishes rapidly. And when he’s not on drugs, he’s basically an imitation Hitler and he’s rousing the same kind of (minority but violent) base Hitler had. But at least we have a breather as Congress is on recess and pvl45 is on vacation.

   Gotta get to work. Gotta see what I can think of to get some action/traction on funtony’s fundraiser – he’s got to get his car fixed (still running but not well and fixing it now will be a lot less expensive than fixing it once it stops running – gasket seals first, then ball joints, then tires – step by step). anyway, I’ll drop back in a bit. moar {{{HUGS}}}

3. TGIF fellow Meese! Thanks for the post, Batch. It sure is great that it’s “Mueller Time”. His investigation has been so tight you couldn’t get a piece of paper between it. I know I kept wondering when we’d see something. The fact that he has impaneled a GJ, tells me he needs those financial records and witness statements. If I was the Orange Shitgibbon’s attorney, I’d be advising him that every single transaction that he has ever had, will soon be known. Hell, I’d consider advising him to testify against the others in exchange for resigning and no prison time. But, I’m ethical.

   Cloudy and, for us, humid this morning (50%) although the high is forecasted to be 96. It won’t feel like that. These overnight lows hanging in the low 70’s is killing me. Off to take my walk and go to the gym.
