Hi, I’m another user from the DKos village, interested in joining here. I read Jan F’s post above, so I’ll reassure you that I’m not someone who gripes or disses other people. I just want a friendly place to talk about the truly horrific things going on in our country, a place to get information, and a place to strategize. (I’m just sad that so many good people have been banned from DKos.)

I’m another follower of the same DK group as Diana and bfitz, still in at least neutral standing there as far as I know, though a little perturbed at the recent goings-on. I don’t plan to leave there (yet), but thought I’d check out a different community, if y’all don’t mind.
Good to see the Dems push back on DeVos today. Don’t know what it will accomplish in the long run, but doesn’t hurt.

Good afternoon…It’s 72 here in Florida…I’m new here and am looking for a family type atmosphere where I can keep up with the idiot-in-chief and ways to countermand his stupidity. Like what I see and it seems I know quite a few of the posters such as bfitz, Diana and Denise…
I’m 64 and a life long Democrat and want to stay one but the old site I belonged to seems overrun with special snowflakes that I can’t stomach any more so I’d greatly appreciate it I could be accepted here.
